Site Map

The Conservatory of Flowers is a giant greenhouse located in the heart of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. It was originally opened in 1879. Since its first opening, it has been closed twice for major renovations, with its most recent re-opening in 2003.

The building is sectioned into five distinct areas: lowland tropics, highland tropics, aquatic plants, potted plants, and special exhibits. The new Orchid Exhibit will be featured first, with all the other areas to follow.
